What is Biathlon?
Biathlon is a Winter Olympic sport that combines cross country skiing with rifle shooting. It is one of the most challenging of all Winter Olympic sports and requires athletes to have both stamina and precision.
Biathletes carry a small-bore .22 rifle on their back and shoot at targets 50 metres away. A missed target incurs either a distance or time penalty.
Biathlon is cool, fast and lots of fun!
