Divisions Available: Div 5&6 - K to Yr 4
Div 4 - Yr 5&6
Div 3 - Yr 7&8
Div 2&1 - Yrs 9, 10, 11 & 12.
This event will comply with the NSW Government COVID19 requirements for community sport.

If you are ill or have flu-like symptions, please do not attend this event.
In NSW, a spectator at a community event can only be a parent, carer or guardian and is limited to one per athlete. No other spectator can attend
Participants who have been in Victoria or a NSW hot spot over the last 14 days are unable to attend this event.

Where: Perisher Valley Biathlon Range
Bib Pick-up: will be issued on Saturday 12th Sept at training sessions or at Course inspection on Sunday 13th Sept
Course Inspection and Zeroing: 9:00am
Event Start Time: 9.30am
Cost: $30 per entry includes laser biathlon use and 1yr membership to NSW Biathlon or Biathlon ACT.
Entries Close: Wednesday 9th September at 11.59pm or earlier if the event reaches capcity under COVID19 requirements.
Presentations: Unfortunately, due to COVID19 restrictions, there will be no on-site presentations. Certificates and placegetter medals will be mailed.
Racing Format:
- XC skate technique (classic permitted)
- Interval start with timing.
- Competitiors should enter the Divison which co-incides with their school year.
- Competitors will ski two or three loops and shoot once or twice depending upon age division. Download the Rules of Racing below.
- Competitors will have 8 shots to hit 5 biathlon targets. Missed targets will require the skiing of 1 penalty loop per missed target.
- Medals will be awarded to place-getters.

Schools Competition
Unfortunately, due to COVID 19, a schools competition will not be held in 2020.
Laser Training Sessions: Laser training sessions will be held on Saturday 12th August. Please book at least one training session so you are familiar with using the laser biathlon system and the loops you will ski on race day.
